Town & Country

Town & Country is a landmark retail center originally designed and constructed in 1958 as a Community Shopping Center. Through numerous renovations over the years, it has become a 325,000SF open-air mall. The latest remodel of the center involved the construction of a freestanding shops building anchored by numerous restaurants and the demolition of a portion of the original structure for a new Nordstrom Rack.
The new construction of these buildings allowed for the reimaging of the center with added contemporary design elements that update and complement the original exposed heavy timber construction and low roof profiles. Extensive site upgrades were included to allow for additional pedestrian circulation between the main buildings and the new shops. Additional landscaping and hardscape improvements assisted in tying the project together, blending the new and the old.
