Born in Rockford, Illinois, just outside of Chicago IL, Marcus developed an early fascination and interest with construction and design. His passion for sketching and creating led him to pursue a career in architecture, eventually taking him to Arizona State University. There, he earned both a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Masters of Architecture, while also playing hockey for ASU.

Marcus brings the same dedication, discipline, and teamwork he developed as a competitive athlete into his professional life at BDG. His strong work ethic, focus, and leadership continue to drive his approach to architecture, delivering high-quality, thoughtful design with purpose and precision.

Outside of work, Marcus enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, golfing, and occasionally getting back on the ice to play hockey!
