Alex is a Tucson native who has worked in almost every corner of the building industry. From civil engineering to heavy civil contracting, to architecture. Alex has always been fascinated by buildings, infrastructure, and how all this stuff comes together to create the great cities and towns we all enjoy living in. Alex was eventually drawn to architecture above all other corners of the building industry because of the combination of art and science the profession embodies, and the diverse and varied professionals architects interact with every day. Although Alex has worked on many building types, industrial architecture is particularly interesting to him because of the massive (and largely unseen) role it plays in making modern daily life possible. When not working or thinking about architecture, Alex enjoys working out, staying active, and making things.
