Garth is from a blue-collar New England pedigree. He was interested in design and construction from an early age; always building something from model cars, to go carts, to tree forts. He did not plan to go to college and participated in some of the trade programs in High School including auto shop, mechanical drafting, and building construction. After many summer construction jobs and a short career as an auto mechanic, he realized that going to college and studying Architecture was the path forward for him. He began his collegiate studies in Boston, finished at Arizona State University and has been in the Phoenix Area ever since. He came to BDG with over 25 years of design and construction experience and looks forward to sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of Architects, hoping to be a resource and mentor as he pursues more project management opportunities.
