Jay is from a small town in West Texas but has lived in Arizona nearly his entire life. Jay has had an interest in creating and building things ever since he was 3 or 4 years old. His mother was certainly glad that he moved out of his Lego stage; stepping on a Lego is quite painful. Jay knows that the truth is, as Architects we do not grow out of the “Lego stage”, we just make better use on a grander scale. After high school, Jay became a Sun Devil and knows that was the best decision he could have made as it propelled him into his true calling and passion for Architecture and Design. Jay has worked in architecture now for 7 years and is loving every day of it. Jay says, “there is no better firm than BDG and I am proud to say I am part of the Butler Design family!”
