Joann was born and raised in Goodyear, Arizona. As a child, Joann always had a knack for drawing and creativity. It was that which first piqued her interest in architecture. Joann spent her time in high school playing volleyball and competing with the swim team. She attended the University of Arizona, where she pursued her degree in architecture and was a member of The Women in Architecture Society.
As a native of Arizona, Joann loves spending her weekends outdoors with her family. She has relatives in Peru and was fortunate to be able to visit them throughout her life. She cherishes the time spent in Peru and looks forward to many future trips. Joann currently resides in Scottsdale and loves that she continues to call Arizona home. After earning her degree in May of 2022, Joann is excited to begin her career with BDG, as she continues to learn and grow.
